Ilie Ruby is the author of The Salt God's Daughter (Soft Skull 2012), and The Language of Trees (Avon HarperCollins 2010), a novel of love, loss, and second chances. She is the former fiction editor of The Southern California Anthology, and the founder of The Great Women Series.
