Amy Yelin's creative nonfiction has appeared or is forthcoming in The Gettysburg Review, The New Plains Review, Literary Mama, The Boston Globe and Globe Magazine, and the anthologies Mamas and Papas and Tarnished: True Tales of Innocence Lost . "Torn," originally in The Baltimore Review, received a notable mention in The Best American Essays 2007. Amy has an MFA in creative writing from Lesley University, and has been awarded scholarships from the Norman Mailer Writer's Colony and the Prague Summer Program.
