ROLAND MERULLO

Roland Merullo has been a Peace Corps volunteer in Micronesia, worked for the U.S. Government in the former Soviet Union, driven a cab in Boston, worked as a carpenter for seven years, and taught for ten years at Bennington and Amherst Colleges as well as the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and Berkshire Community College. He has published ten novels and three books of non-fiction, including Revere Beach Elegy, American Savior, Revere Beach Boulevard and In Revere, In Those Days. His books have been translated into Spanish, German, Korean, and Portuguese. His most recent novel, The Talk-Funny Girl, is a finalist for the New England Book Award.
