Literature-out-loud is at the heart of everything we do here at The Drum and we hope it can be a comfort in these strange times. The sound of a voice is one of best remedies for isolation that we know. We’ve started a new series of “mini-casts” called Safe & Sound designed to connect listeners to writers with brand new books. In each episode, we ask writers to introduce themselves, to talk about their new book and to tell us what brings them comfort in difficult times.
