NADINE LYNN KENNEY
Nadine Lynn Kenney teaches at Framingham State University and Grub Street Inc. She received her MFA in creative writing from Columbia College Chicago and is working on the revision of her autobiographical novel, Distance (of which this piece is an excerpt). Nadine has been published in Chicago magazine and Hair Trigger, among other publications. She has worked in all aspects of writing: as a literary magazine editor, newspaper and magazine reporter, fiction contest judge, and creative writing instructor. A Chicago native and Massachusetts newbie, Nadine spends her free time exploring the outdoors with her husband and their dog.
Her flash fiction piece "How To Meet Your Future Husband (and Almost Scare Him Away)" appears in the June 2011 issue of The Drum.
