Barrington Smith-Seetachitt pendulum-swings between prose and screenwriting. She has published essays and short stories in Colorado Review and Sycamore Review. Her screenplay Children of Others won a Best Screenplay Award from Amazon Studios. She has dueling MFAs in Creative Writing from Florida State University and Screenwriting from University of Southern California. She has managed to construct a rudimentary website at barringtonsmith.net.

Her essay "Sunday Afternoon With Buddha and Spider" appears in the December 2013 issue of The Drum.
