JO-ANN BEKKER
Jo-Ann Bekker's stories have appeared in Vol. 1 Brooklyn, Itch and New Contrast. She was runner up of the inaugural Problem House Press contest for emerging writers. She is South African, and received her MA in Creative Writing from Rhodes University, Grahamstown, in 2016. Before writing fiction she worked as a journalist for many years. She lives in Knysna with her husband, the artist Guy Thesen. They have two adult sons.
