GUY THORVALDSEN
Guy Thorvaldsen's fiction and creative nonfiction has been published in One Earth (Scotland), Flyway, Madison Magazine, and The Wisconsin Review, as well as numerous pieces written and performed for Mind's Eye Radio, Madison WI. His poetry has appeared in, among others, Alligator Juniper, The Aurorean, Forge, Gulfstream, Magama 69, Zone 3, Poet Lore and Verse Wisconsin. His first full-length book of poetry, Going to Miss Myself When I’m Gone, was published on October 2017 through Aldrich Press.
He received his MFA from Vermont College and teaches writing at Madison College in Madison, Wisconsin. He is also a journeyman carpenter, husband, father, and contributing poet/essayist for community radio.
