GRUB STREET'S YOUNG ADULT WRITERS PROGRAM

Grub Street's Young Adult Writers Program Summer Fellows, 2012

Robert Auld is a senior at Beverly High School. Along with being interviewed in Publishers Weekly and in the Huffington Post, he has published work in The Nervous Breakdown and Gigantic Sequins. He can be found at robertauld.blogspot.com.
Sara Blouin is a junior at Winchester High School. She has participated in the National Novel Writing Month contest twice, winning in 2011. She writes mostly poetry.
Noah Jallos-Prufer is a senior at Beaver Country Day School. He has written primarily fiction, but enjoys the occasional non-fiction personal narrative and has explored writing screenplays for low-budget independent production.
Peter Lam is a freshman at Nashoba Regional High School. He enjoys tennis and music.
Paolo Martins is a junior at the Cambridge School of Weston. Though he dabbles in fiction and prose, his first literary love was poetry, from slam poems to raps and anywhere in between.
Jacob Miller is a senior at Brookline High School. He is an aspiring musician and an amateur poet. He enjoys fresh fruit and chocolate-covered anything.
James Robotham is a student at Scituate High School. He writes mainly fiction.
Samira Teixeira is a freshman at Somerville High School. She enjoys writing and annoying her friends with feminist culture critique.
Tiara Vásquez is a senior at Watertown High School and founder of the Creative Arts Club. She has taken classes at Bunker Hill Community College.
