Jyotsna Sreenivasan's novel And Laughter Fell from the Sky is forthcoming from HarperCollins in June. Her short fiction has appeared in numerous literary magazines and anthologies. She is also the author of fiction and nonfiction for children and young adults and is the creator of two web sites: Gender Equality Bookstore and Second Generation Stories: Literature by Children of Immigrants.
