KATE WISEL

Kate Wisel is originally from Boston. Her fiction and nonfiction has appeared or is forthcoming in Tin House Online, Gulf Coast, The Forge, Redivider as winner of The Beacon Street Prize, and elsewhere. She is currently a Carol Houck Smith Fiction Fellow at The University of Wisconsin-Madison where she teaches fiction and is at work on her book.


Her story "Ways to Break Me" appears in the January 2014 issue of The Drum.
Her story "Happy Hour" appears in the October 2018 issue. A version of "Happy Hour" has appeared in print in the Atticus Review.
